One year back in my hometown...my story continue...

Time flies...already more than a year I relocated back to KL from Shanghai. My journey so far...I have a fashion column "Trendsformer" in Star, my very own capsule collection at Isetan and etc. But the most important one is to be close to my family...Priceless...Cherish all the one you love and spend more time with them. "Tomorrow" cannot be the excuse because nobody knows what's going to happen tomorrow. When you see your love one later, give he or she a hug and a kiss. If you are far away from home, just call home and whisper I love you to your dearest one. Peace and Love to the world.

Remembering my inspiration...Anita Mui

Anita Mui, an amazing artist with her great performance on stage and films. I got attracted to her when I was 13 years old. I loved her ever changing images and styling. Anita inspired me to be a fashion designer. She is an amazing soul with a good heart. Anita did a lot of charity work to help the poor and the world. She inspired me to be strong, be true to myself and be a good person. Anita left us in 2003 but her great spirit and positive energy still inspired everyone of us. She once said she hope her fans will remember her when they look at the night sky full of stars. We will always remember you Anita as someone that touched our heart with your great personality and soul. We hope you rest in peace.

Crossed Over With Style

My latest collaboration project with Japanese department store Isetan will be launched on the 16 Sept and the full launch will be on the 30th Sept. I designed a capsule collection for their existing label Cultivation. My collection will be selling in all their three stores. They are in the Garden Mall, Lot 10 and KLCC in Kuala Lumpur. Do look out for "Cultivation by Victor Khoo" label. Hopefully some of my designs will end up in your wardrobe.

My journey so far...

I can't believe it's nearly 6 months... I am still finding my way through a "familiar" city where I was born and rediscovering my true self. It's great to be with my family and meeting old friends that I lost touch for such a long time. When you left home for nearly 13 years, sometimes you still think everything stayed exactly where they were before. Actually, everything changed but the love from my family towards me remained the same. I was walking on an old street near my house one day, all the ancient memories come back to me when I smell a familiar scent from the nearby aging laundry shop. I remembered my late grandmother holding my little hand strolling down the street. She was an amazing lady with so much kindness and greatness in her. I love her with all my heart and misses her every single minute of my life. I know she is happy somewhere in heaven. If I ever get a chance to see her again, I would like to say to her, "Thank you so much for looking after me and sorry I didn't manage to come back to see you when you were ill. Please don't worry about me. Hope you are at somewhere peaceful and full of love. I love you my dearest grandma."

My latest fashion collaboration with Stella Luna in Beijing, Shanghai and other major cities in China. Through the key hole you will get a hint what Room 1069 is all about. I came out with the concept designed together with Stella Luna team the layout and also the display of the whole store. Every display boxes give the viewers a hint of the inside world of Room 1069. The collection of dresses was designed by me...a sexy, sophiticated collection. Enjoy!
